From parades, drag shows, bar crawls, festivals and more, Alaska celebrates Pride in iconic Alaska style. Check out some of the top Pride festivals and events in Alaska, all held during Pride Month in June.

Anchorage Pride Parade and Festival

Located in Anchorage, the largest city in the state, this all-out celebration of the season brings together craft-makers, vendors, performers, and the LGBTQ+ community and allies from far and wide. Here, Alaskans come together to support, bring awareness, and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. Participants are encouraged to wear their boldest outfits, while sponsors and community organizations display messages of resilience, love, unity, and diversity. Parades, banners, floats, and performers march in downtown Anchorage at the largest Pride event in Alaska.

Multiple live events and headliners at the Delaney Park Strip in downtown offer attendees the chance to dance, sing, and celebrate, and with over 130 vendors, flavor and art abound for everyone to enjoy! The parade usually begins at the park and moves through downtown Anchorage.

Attendees will be able to see the sights of Alaska’s largest city while communing with locals and visitors alike – united in a fantastic cause. Anchorage bar crawls, drag shows, Drag Story Hour, and other pride events are hosted throughout June (and other months as well!) to keep Pride celebrations ongoing!
