Wood River Lodge
Take a 25 mile ride from Healy in a comfortable side-by-side (with a full cab and heater) through the wilderness, past the last of the public McKinley Park emergency shelter buses (of Into the Wild Fame) and over Cody Pass to the Wood River Valley. There you will transfer into a jet boat to jet upstream 3 more miles to the historic Wood River Lodge est. in 1898!
- OR - Take a 30 min flight-seeing trip from Healy airport (or 60 min. from Fairbanks International Airport) directly to Wood River Lodge's private runway.
WRL is nestled at the base of Mt. Anderson & directly on the Wood River.
